Established in 2013, Tangent Waves offers consultancy, business development services, mentoring, research, facilitation, moderation, and training services to organizations, businesses, and small and medium enterprises with a core focus on action learning through deep involvement.

It also provides training programs in strategy, business modeling, business continuity management, services marketing, sales, oral communication, public relations, and various other soft skills.

The company has a network of individuals who provide timely consulting support to work in a team as and when required.

Founder

Suman Shakya profile

Suman Shakya

Suman Shakya, its founder, brings over 29 years of working and entrepreneurial experience including teaching, mentoring, and consulting. He is an active member of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and private sector development in Nepal. He has worked with IFC, World Bank, Swiss Contact, Ministry of Industry, JICA, Water Aid Nepal, ICIMOD, Swiss Development Corporation, and various other organizations. He was Advisor, Private Sector Engagement, USAID Tayar Nepal. He is Mentor at Lalitpur Metropolitan City (women entrepreneurs) and Co-Founder at Nepal Entrepreneurs’ Hub.

Suman was Founder and Board Member, Nepalese Marketing Association; District 41 Director, Toastmasters International. He was Co-Founder in SmartPaani, Rooster Logic, Co-Chair Startup and Innovation Committee, FNCCI.
